Hi Everyone! I’m Jess, a freelance photographer that specializes in portrait photography.

A little background about me: I went to school for applied media arts and studied graphic design, photography, and art history. I also dabble in many multitudes of creative photography; macro, tilt shift, astro, wide angle, underwater,.. just to name a few!

Another passion of mine is traveling. In 2019 I was lucky enough to go on Safari in Eastern Africa, the trip of a lifetime. I stayed in tents in the middle of the Serengeti and traveled through multiple countries. Many of the wildlife photos in my portfolio are from this trip. I’ve just started photographing my travels and there are so many more places on my bucket list to visit.

Other hobbies of mine include: painting, drawing, tie dying, knitting, and gaming. Also, I’m a crazy cat lady and a snake charmer!

Back to why you are here.. photography! I’ve been shooting for clients since 2009 and my experience includes; family and children photography, senior portraits, engagement sessions and model portraits. I recently retired from shooting all-day weddings, but if your ceremony is small and/or you’re only interested in booking an hour or two, please feel free to contact me.

I adore natural light, so if you are interested in booking a shoot, my specialty is outdoor photography. I’m located outside of Pittsburgh, PA and all my work is on-location; meaning I will travel to the site of your choice. If you have any ideas for a shoot please feel free to reach out.
